Dana White donerade 400 000kr – räddade flickas liv

Dana White har nyligen varit i Phuket, Thailand. Där tog han ett kort tillsammans med en flicka som hette Tuptim. Detta var dock ingen vanlig fan-selfie utan Tuptim är en flicka som White 2010 hade donerat $50 000 (dryga 400 000 svenska kronor) till för en leveroperation. 

 Dana White blev informerad om flickans sjukdom via fightern Ben Pittsley som tränade på Tighter Muay Thai där Tuptims pappa, Rattanachai Jadngooluem var tränare. Ben Pittsley lyckads med ett lite aggressiv kampanjande å White att donera pengarna. 

 Det var den pensionerade fightern Mike Swick som satte upp mötet mellan White och Tuptim. 

Mike Swick set it up for us to meet, and I met her. We hung out a couple days ago, and it was awesome.

She’s beautiful, and she’s the sweetest thing in the world, and her family are really nice, good people. Last night we went to the Muay Thai fights together, and she sat with me. It was awesome. I want to have a relationship with her. I don’t want that to be the last time I ever see her. 

Vare sig man tror på det genuina i gesten för sju år sedan så verkar det idag vara något den hårdnackade UFC VD:n uppskattar.
