Kamaru Usman avfärdar titelmatch för Nate Diaz vid UFC-återkomst

UFC:s tidigare welterviktsmästare Kamaru Usman ser inte Nate Diaz som en fighter i världsklass. Usman har reagerat starkt på kommentarer från Henry Cejudo om att Diaz skulle kunna återvända till UFC med en titelutmaning. Dock tror Usman att Diaz skulle kunna besegra Youtube-profilen Jake Paul i en MMA-kamp.

Usman ser ingen världsfighter i Diaz

Två UFC-veteraner i Nate Diaz (21-13 MMA/1-1-0 Boxning) och Jorge ”Gamebred” Masvidal (35-17 MMA/1-1-0 Boxning) gick nyligen en boxningsmatch. Kampen vanns av Diaz via ett majoritetsbeslut, vilket tar 39-åringen till ett jämnt facit i ringen på 1-1. Hans enda förlust kommer mot Youtube-profilen och boxaren Jake ”The Trouble Child” Paul (9-1-0, 6 KOs) i en match från augusti förra året.

Trots att han inte är aktiv i MMA för tillfället, är Diaz namn fortfarande sammankopplat med UFC. Bland annat har den tidigare dubbelmästaren Henry ”Triple C” Cejudo (16-4) sagt att Stockton-sonen skulle kunna vara aktuell för en titelkamp i weltervikt om Diaz väljer att återvända till oktogonen. Det här är dock inte en åsikt som den forne welterviktsmästaren Kamaru ”The Nigerian Nightmare” Usman (20-4) delar.

Borde inte få titelutmaning

Nyligen uttalade sig Kamaru usman om Henry Cejudos kommentarer gällande Nate Diaz. ”The Nigerian Nightmare” anser inte att Diaz är en fighter i världsklass och borde således inte vara med i diskussionerna om en titelkamp i weltervikt.

Nate Diaz is on the complete tail end of his career, yes of course he’s made a great name for himself, and big shoutout to Nate Diaz for still having that notoriety to be able to go out there and still get paychecks like this because he’s getting all of these good fights.

To say Nate Diaz is going to come back in and walk into fighting world-class Mixed Martial Arts fighters right now in the UFC, come on, that’s absurd, that’s crazy. He’s not a world-class fighter, are you crazy? Throw Nate Diaz in there with Shavkat Rakhmonov, throw Nate Diaz in there with me, throw Nate Diaz in there with Jack Della Maddalena, throw Nate Diaz in there with Justin Gaethje. Come on.

Besegrar Jake Paul i MMA

Dock ser Usman att Diaz skulle besegra Jake Paul i en MMA-match. Enligt Usman skulle grapplingen vara till en står fördel för Diaz.
