Kevin Holland förklarar sin avsky för Joaquin Buckley

UFC-fajtern Kevin Holland har en minst sagt dålig bild av kollegan Joaquin Buckley. Enligt Holland är Buckley en ynkrygg samt irriterande. Han beskriver bland annat hur han inte vill bo på fajterhotellet inför UFC 307, med risken av att han skulle sprina in i Buckley och spöa upp honom.

UFC:s Kevin “Trailblazer” Holland (26-11, 1 NC) har ett par väl valda ord att säga om welterviktaren Joaquin ”New Mansa” Buckley (19-6). Även om de två aldrig mötts i oktogonen, beskriver Holland hur han inte tycker om den 30-årige Buckley. Bland annat beskriver han ”New Mansa” som både en ynkrygg samt irriterande. Buckley själv känner dock inte av någon av den avsky som Holland tycks bära på.

”En irriterande ynkrygg”

Under en presskonferens inför UFC 307 kommer Kevin Holland in på sin syn av landsmannen Joaquin Buckley. Holland förklarar att han valde att inte bo på fajterhotellet på grund av risken att springa in i Buckley. Det här skulle kunna resultera I att de två började slåss, säger ”Trailblazer”.

I figured if I beat the fuck out of Buckley before the fight happens then you guys lose a fight and I get in trouble. It’s not beef, that motherucker is chicken. Buckley’s annoying. I don’t understand why Wonderboy would want to do that fight. Wonderboy at one point in time wanted to fight somebody who was just going to strike with him and Buckley’s not going to just strike with him, so therefore, Wonderboy’s probably going to lose that fight.

Buckley delar inte det hat som han får från Holland. Han beskriver att det inte finns något ont mellan dem så vitt han vet.

I’m not staying at the fighter hotel either. I don’t know man, I guess everybody wants to fight lil’ Buck. Regardless though, there ain’t no problems, I don’t have an issue with Kevin Holland you know. I’m here to fight Stephan Thomas and get my paycheck so if Kevin wants any beef or any problems, he’s going to have to pull up on me, that’s all.

Ingen illvilja gentemot Daniel Cormier

Buckley fortsätter med att berätta att han även inte längre har något emot MMA-veteranen och expertkommentatorn Daniel ”DC” Cormier. De två har tidigare utbytt förolämpningar på sociala medier. Nu skall det dock vara en god stämning de två emellan, menar Buckley.

I just got done talking to DC, that was cool. We were in front of the cameras, I thought we would just be in a room by ourselves for a bit and be able to talk like men. It is what it is, we had a good conversation, a good interview and that’ll be out so people be able to see it. I thought it was going to be off-camera, I think that off-camera just man-to-man, that’s the type of conversation that I would rather have, or I’d be more comfortable with if anything.
